Qualification Rules for 2007Champions Trophy, 1-9 December, 2007:

The following countries shall qualify:

• The Champion of the Olympic Games 2004
• The Champion of the World Cup 2006
• The Champion of the Champions Trophy 2006
• The host country

The other countries and the reserve countries shall be in order of those finishing in second and subsequent places, in the previous World Cup, whichever is the more recent.

Based upon these qualification criteria the teams to qualify for the Champions Trophy 2007 will be:

• Australia
• Germany
• Korea
• Netherlands
• Pakistan
• Spain
